The first Elephant Hills deluxe tented camp with 30 tents gives guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with the Asian Elephant, the largest land animal in South East Asia. The Elephant experience allows a lucky few to see and learn about these magnificent animals. This includes preparing and feeding feed them a meals, scrub and clean and watch them bathe and plant some of their food. Enjoy the experience staying overnight in the rainforests of Southern Thailand in a comfortable safari style tent.
Note: the Elephant experience DOES NOT include sitting or trekking on the Elephants. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience, but not recommended for your children under 4-5 years.
Located on Cheow Larn Lake, is one of the only floating tented camps in the world. This is one of Thailand’s most spectacular rainforest lakes, surrounded by jungle and the towering Limestone mountains of Khao Sok National Park.
There are just 10 deluxe tents, each with private en suite bathrooms and fully powered by solar and wind energy. The camp is designed to be at one with nature, while providing a comfortable and intimate base to explore the surrounding rainforest. Guests can watch the sun set over the jungle from their tent, swim in the emerald waters of Cheow Larn Lake, or kayak on the lake in search of monkeys and birds before trekking through the rainforest.
